Tributes have been paid to a woman found dead in an apartment in Lurgan on Sunday evening.
Laura Marshall, 31, was discovered around 5.30pm in the Victoria Street area of the town.
The officer leading the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Eamonn Corrigan from Serious Crime Branch said: “Laura’s body was discovered at approximately 5.30pm yesterday, Sunday, 3 April.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen or had any contact with Laura over the weekend to contact Detectives at Mahon Road on 101 or alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“I also want to hear from anyone who saw or heard any activity at Laura’s home in Victoria Street over the weekend until yesterday evening at 5.30pm.”
Dean Oxby posted on a tribute on Facebook: “I can’t believe this has happened. Another short life taken away from us all. My sister was an inspiration and a role model growing up but sadly she is no longer here… I’m gonna miss you… R.I.P Laura Marshall you will always be on my mind. X.”
In another post on Facebook, a friend said: “Poor Laura Marshall, all her struggles are over and I wish her peace. She was an effervescent wee soul and will not be forgotten, she was kind and if she could do you a good turn she happily would, with the same sincerity if you wronged her – she’d tell you!! Sad to hear this news.”
