Thieves have gained access to a number of vehicles and stolen items – including power tools and a new TV – in the Lurgan area.
Police are now appealing for CCTV or dashcam footage from the Derrymacash Road, Derrytrasna Road, Ardmore Road and Croaghan View areas of Derryadd between the hours of 3am and 5am on Tuesday December 9, 2025.
They have received numerous reports of three individuals walking onto properties and attempting to access parked vehicles.
Said a police spokesperson: “We ask that residents in these areas check their CCTV and dashcams for any footage of these individuals or any suspicious vehicles and report this to us by calling 101 and quoting serial CC2025121001444.
“We will be increasing patrols in these areas but need people to be alert as well.
“To deprive these criminals of opportunity, avoid leaving any valuables in vehicles where and when you can, ensure any vehicles are locked and PLEASE BE VIGLIANT!”
