Jane Ferguson was born and schooled in Co. Armagh. The Markethill woman, graduating in the late 2000s, when journalism jobs were scarce, has grasped freelance opportunities in the Middle East and worked for CNN and Al Jazeera English.
She currently lives in Beirut, reporting for PBS NewsHour.
