A man has died in a farming accident in Tassagh.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Dundrum Road – close to Corkley – on Tuesday evening.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police received a report of the sudden death of a man aged in his 70s in the Dundrum Road area of Tassagh on Tuesday evening, May 13.
“Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from other emergency services.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
It is understood the accident involved a tractor.
A NI Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “The NIAS received a 999 call at 7.12pm on Tuesday following reports of an incident on the Dundrum Road area, Armagh.
“NIAS despatched one Emergency Ambulance and a Rapid Response Paramedic to the scene.
“No one was taken from the scene.”
