A man has been arrested after the discovery of a cannabis factory in Keady, Co Armagh.
Police uncovered the factory on Monday on the Drumnahavil Road area of the town.
Chief Inspector Barney O’Connor said: “Officers discovered the factory yesterday (Monday) at a house in the Drumnahavil Road area of Keady and found in excess of 200 cannabis plants inside it.
“Due to the risks involving electricity abstraction alongside the conditions of the buildings and the plants were being harvested in, we are having to move slowly through the site in order to make it safe.
“A man in his forties was arrested in connection with the find and has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
