Family’s delight as three stolen puppies returned anonymously overnight

Despair has turned to delight for a Co Armagh family of three Alsatian pups after they were stolen on Thursday afternoon.

Armagh I reported how the three young puppies were cruelly snatched from their home in Carnagh, on the outskirts of Keady, at around 4.30pm yesterday.

The devastated family made an emotional appeal for their safe return but as the hours went by, hope – just like daylight – was fading.

But alas, hope springs eternal, as the three adorable canines were anonymously returned to their delighted owners in the early hours of this morning.

The family confirmed to Armagh I earlier this morning that they had been left half way up their long lane on the Castleblayney Road, some time between 5.30am and 6.30am.

Marion Hughes and her family wanted to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who shared the story on social media as they feel that undoubtedly resulted in their return under the cover of darkness.

And to echo those sentiments, thanks to everyone who took the time to like, comment and share. These little ones are back where they belong – and looking content as can be!
