A 5k walk is being held to raise money in aid for Willowbank Patients Comfort Fund and Keady Distict Nurses Patients Comfort Fund.
The event is being organised by the Nugent family who are asking everyone to come along and take part and raise money for a very worthy cause.
The walk is due to take place on Sunday, June 25, with registration at 1pm, before moving off at 2pm.
It will leave from Niall Nugent’s house at Upper Darkley and will take in some spectacular views around Tullynawood Lake.
Sinead Nugent told Armagh I : “The chosen charity is close to our heart because of the care and attention they gave our grandfather over the last few weeks of his life.”
The walk takes places the day before what would have been Jim Nugent’s 91st birthday.
The walk will conclude with light refreshments and a prize draw, with all proceeds to the chosen charity.
Everyone is welcome and all support will be very much appreciated.
