A huge haul of jewellery was taken during a burglary at a house in the Alexander Crescent area of Armagh last week, and the PSNI today (Friday) issued an appeal for information from the public.
Some time between 7pm and 11pm on Wednesday, January 15, entry was forced at the rear of a house.
The items taken includes a gold swivel Masonic ring, a fine gold chain with a pearl on it, a three diamond gold ring, a single ruby gold ring, a gold ring of two diamonds and two rubies, a gold link bracelet, and an Albert chain with a millenium fob attached to it.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity around the area during this time or is offered jewellery of this description for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact them in Armagh on 0845 600 8000.
