Detectives are appealing for information following an armed robbery at shop earlier today.
A man armed with a knife entered the convenience store just before 12.30pm, in the Drumlin Drive area of .
He made off with a sum of money.
Fortunately no-one was injured in the incident.
A description of the robber has been given by police.
Detective Constable Paul Murphy said: “The man is described as being about 6ft tall, of stocky build and was wearing a grey puffer style jacket with the hood up.
“I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Lurgan Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
