A police helicopter has joined up to 60 people in the hunt to find a missing man in county Armagh area.
The operation to find 58-year-old William McConnell is currently centred in the Portadown area.
The police helicopter has been deployed and police search dogs and members of the Community Rescue Service (CRS) are on the scene in Killicomaine.
Mr McConnell has not been seen since last night (Sunday) after going missing for the second time in 48 hours.
He is described as being 5ft 4in tall, very slim build with blue eyes, grey beard and grey receding hair. William’s beard, hair and skin are covered in purple dye.
When last seen he was wearing a dark coloured mid-length outdoor coat, blue jeans, sandals with grey/black socks and was carrying a walking stick
Constable Healey said, “It is possible that William may try to make his way to Belfast. We are asking William or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact us in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 1243 200915.”
