Detectives from PSNI Organised Crime Branch have charged four men aged 25, 27, 28 and 34 with various drugs offences.
They are due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court this morning, (Thursday), June 12.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charges follow searches of two cars on the A1 carriageway in the Banbridge area on Tuesday, when cocaine with a street value of around £120,000 was recovered. A further seizure of £5,000 worth of cannabis was seized in a follow-up search in the Lisburn Area.
