Police in Craigavon helped make the local community safe last week after receiving reports of a gas smell.
Sergeant Alwyn Peters, Brownlow Neighbourhood Policing Team, said the PSNI received a report of a smell of gas in Dingwell Park last Wednesday.
He added: “We attended the area and the smell of gas was quite strong. We informed NIFRS who came along and were able to identify leaks in Dingwell Park and Meadowbrook. Firmus attended and repaired the leaks straight away.
“I would like to thank the local community for reporting this matter to us, enabling us and our partner agencies to provide a speedy response and resolution.”
