Family’s plea to find stolen farm quad which had been gift from late grandfather

A Keady family have appealed for help in finding a stolen farm quad of huge sentimental value.

It was taken from the Darkley Road area during the early hours of yesterday (Friday) morning.

The distinctive red quad had a BMW badge on the front of it.

Aoife McCooey said the family were desperate to have it back.

She told Armagh I : “Our late granda had bought it for us and they took it during the early hours of Friday morning.

“They have come through the locked gates and locked shed of our farmyard.

“We suspect it is someone who has sadly been watching our house and our farm. We would just like it back on account of our late grandad.

“There is a BMW badge on the front so can be easily spotted.”

If you can help please contact the PSNI in Armagh on the non-emergency number 101.
