Crossmaglen is planning a party for its annual Christmas lights switch-on next Friday, November 28.
And according to Slieve Gullion SF Cllr Terry Hearty it’s going to be the best ever!
“We have lobbied really hard for funding to improve and expand our festive lights and decorations in Crossmaglen and thankfully the work has paid of,” he said.
“The Square, as a result of SOAR funding from the Rural Development Fund, looks really well and the extended lights which will stretch on the trees all around it will make the place look really well.
“The extra lights on the Christmas Tree will ensure that all, and in particular our young children, who attend the switch-on will have a fantastic night.”
Entertainment on the night ( Friday 28th) starts at 6pm with the lights being switched on at 7pm. All are welcome.
