Watch out for your Christmas brochure dropping through your letterbox from Monday, November 12.

Armagh City & District Council has joined forces with some of the city’s key attractions and a host of private sector partners to bring a full range of events across the city including the annual Georgian Day event, Armagh Lights Up for Christmas, Santa’s Ice Capades at Navan, Sleeping Beauty at the Market Place Theatre, a free children’s Christmas trail, Mystery of the Christmas Star at Armagh Planetarium and much more.

Lord Mayor Sharon Haughey said: “Our extensive programme of festive events makes the perfect backdrop for what is set to be the most magical Christmas ever here in Armagh. Adding to this year’s programme we have a new projection light show with a twist and a free children’s trail incorporating the Festival of Trees, Gingerbread Alley and Christmas Wishes with Santa.
