An elderly man was shot in the face with a pellet while out in a field over the weekend.
The incident took place on the Cullaville Road, Crossmaglen, at around 1pm on Saturday, May 9.
The pellet is believed to have been shot from a passing vehicle.
The man was out in a field near his home at the time and was later taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Detective Inspector Will Tate is appealing for anyone who was in the area and who may have noticed any suspicious activity or who has any information about this incident to contact detectives at Lurgan on 101 quoting reference number 756090515.
