Women face litany of charges after seizure of £330,000 worth of drugs in Dungannon

Two women have been charged after the seizure of a large quantity of drugs in Dungannon.

Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch have charged both with a number of offences including possession of Class A, B and C drugs and possession with intent to supply Class A, B and C drugs.

The women – aged 42 and 62 – are due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, September 17.

Two men – aged 20 and 73 – arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further police enquiries.

The charges follow the seizure of drugs – originally reported with an estimated street value of £330,000 – in the Dungannon area on Thursday.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
