A community facility in the heart of Caledon was ransacked by would-be thieves on Sunday night.
Police received a report of burglary in the Mill Street area of the village around 11pm.
It was reported that entry was gained to a property in the area by a number of males.
It is understood they ransacked the property, but it is not believed that anything was taken during the incident.
A large window at the front of the property was reported to have been damaged during the incident.
Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 221 02/12/24.
