Teenage girl suffers suspected broken jaw in alleged assault outside Moy pub

A young woman suffered a suspected broken jaw after an alleged assault involving a doorman outside a Moy pub on Saturday evening.

A video, circulating on social media of the purported incident, involves a male and a 19-year-old woman.

Police have made an appeal for information following the report made to them on Sunday morning.

Inspector Patton said: “Police received a report shortly after 8am this morning (Sunday 11th July) that a female had been assaulted outside licensed premises in The Square, Moy on Saturday evening.

“Enquiries are at an early stage. Anyone who may have any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 693 of 11/07/21.”

It is understood the alleged victim was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw.
