Teenage boy (16) dies following collision involving lorry outside Coalisland

A teenage boy has sadly died following a road traffic collision outside Coalisland.

Detective Inspector Stewart from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit said: “We received a report at approximately 8.15pm on Thursday evening, July 30 of a collision involving a scrambler and Scania lorry in the Derryloughan Road area.

“Officers attended, alongside Northern Ireland Ambulance Service colleagues – and medical treatment was provided at the scene.

“The 16-year-old, who has been named as Connor Magee Campbell from the Clonoe area, was taken onward to hospital where he sadly later died from his injuries.

“We would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage of what happened, which could assist with our ongoing enquiries.”
