
Police are appealing for information after a significant haul of tools was stolen from a work vehicle in Derrytresk – near Maghery.
Inspector McNeill from the Neighbourhood Policing Team said the theft was reported to police shortly before midday on Wednesday, September 16.
“It is believed to have occurred sometime between 10pm on Tuesday night and 7am on Wednesday morning,” he explained.
“The tools stolen are worth a substantial amount of money. I would ask anyone with information, who may have possibly witnessed this or may have video footage, dash-cam or otherwise of this theft, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 575 16/09/35.”
