Over £2,500 has been raised for the family of a young Dungannon teenager whose body was recovered following a multi-agency search last week.
Described as a “girl of beautiful talent” following her passing, Aisha Petrikova’s death sent shockwaves across her local community.
She was last seen in the Dungannon area on the evening of September 22 but after extensive searches involving Community Rescue, PSNI and Search & Rescue Dog Association – SARDA Ireland North, the Community Rescue Specialist Search Teams stood down after Aisha was located deceased.
A death notice said Aisha’s loss is “deeply regretted by her loving father, sisters, brother, Lubos’ partner Paula and her children Bethany, Chloe and Emilie and entire family circle and friends”.
Her family is said to have faced “unimaginable loss in such a short time”.

A GoFundMe page – launched by Ernesta Buozyte – now aims to raise a total of £2,800 to help support Aisha’s bereaved family.
An accompanying description explains that two years ago, “the children lost their beloved mother Janette” and now her siblings have felt the additional loss of their “much-loved” sister.
It adds: “These tragedies have left a deep emptiness in their hearts and in their daily lives.
“Aisha was a truly special soul – talented, creative, fiercely independent, and full of love for her family and friends. She left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
“Today, her father Lubos and her siblings Jessica, Megan, and Lubos need our support more than ever as they try to find strength after such heart-breaking losses.
“Your help will provide practical relief with everyday needs, education, and stability during this painful time.”
