A man is in a stable condition after being stabbed in the stomach at Moy.
It happened during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
The incident – at The Square – occurred after three men were reportedly set upon by a number of others after they had left a pub in the area.
The 31-year-old victim sustained a stab wound to his stomach and an ambulance was called, taking him to hospital for treatment where he remains and is described as being in a “stable” condition.
Two others – aged 27 and 33 – also required hospital treatment for non life-threatening injuries.
The police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and have so far made two arrests.
An 18-year-old man and another, aged 20, were detained on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The incident happened shortly after 1am and anyone who was in the area and saw what happened is asked to contact the PSNI on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 137 of the 01/03/20.
