A man and woman are to appear in court charged with a number of serious offences linked to child cruelty.
Police have tonight (Tuesday) confirmed that a 31-year-old man and 24-year-old woman have each been charged with causing, or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm, cruelty to children and perverting the course of justice.
They are expected to appear at Dungannon Magistrate’s Court on March 19.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges related to an injury sustained by a child in the Dungannon area, which were reported to police on September 11, 2020.
