A fundraising campaign has been launched to support a devoted mother and her five-year-old son who has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Weronika Kulinska, from Dungannon, who is raising money for her friend Daria Kabat after her son Gabriel was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) – a rare type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.
Only 760 people are diagnosed with ALL in the UK each year.
Gabriel’s journey is just beginning, with a three-year treatment plan involving intensive hospital visits, procedures, and medications.
Weronika wrote: “Gabriel’s mum, a loving and devoted single mother, has had to leave work to care for Gabriel full-time.
“The emotional and financial toll of this diagnosis is overwhelming. From travel expenses to basic daily needs, the burden continues to grow.
“We’re reaching out for support to help Gabriel and his mum through this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Gabriel’s treatment and help relieve the financial pressure on his family.
“Thank you for your compassion, prayers, and generosity. Your support means more than words can express.”
So far, over £5,000 has been raised.
