The County Tyrone village of Caledon could become the latest to be struck by the glamping bug!

The popularity of glamping has grown over recent years, and particularly since the pandemic and the promotion of stay-at-home holidays.

And now an application has gone in for a new glamping facility as Caledon looks set to get in on the action.

Five glamping pods are being proposed for a site on 170m south east of number 52 Derrycourtney Road, Caledon.

An application – in the name of Jim Moore – has been lodged with Mid-Ulster District Council for consideration and the proposals will be advertised shortly.
