All four people arrested in connection with Dungannon murder released

All four people arrested in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Dungannon last week have been released by police.

A 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering 71-year-old Adam Krzan on February 27, and a 27-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, have today (Thursday) been released on bail pending further police enquiries.

A 30-year-old man, arrested earlier this week was released from custody unconditionally on Wednesday.

Another man, also aged 30, was released on bail pending further inquiries on Tuesday.

The victim, Mr Krzan, was originally from Poland but has lived in the area for more than 20 years, was found with serious injuries following an assault at a flat in Corrainey Park at around 8pm that evening.

Emergency services were sent to the incident in the Lisnahull Estate but he died at the scene.

Police are continuing to urge anyone with information, and who hasn’t yet contacted police, to call 101 quoting 1576 27/02/25.
