Police in Portadown are appealing for information after a dog was found dead in the garden of a property.

Constable Beverley Wright explained: “Sometime between 1.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday, 2 December, a small pet dog was let out of the house  in the Lynedale Manor area.

“It is unclear what happened but it is believed that the family pet may have been hit by a car. The dog made its way back to the garden where it was subsequently found dead by the owners.
