Digger stolen from construction site in Newry

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of a digger.

Constable Garry Young said: “Sometime between midnight and 6.30am on Thursday, 9 April, a 22 tonne Case CX210 digger with a 5ft digging bucket was taken from a construction site on Clontigora Road, Newry. The digger is orange with a grey cab.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information about the theft or whereabouts of the digger. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 209 090415.”
