A large quantity of drugs has been seized in south Armagh.
Officers in Slieve Gullion Neighbourhood Police team recovered the drugs on Wednesday in the Silverbridge area.
A police spokesperson said: “We are dedicated to stamping out the scourge of drugs in our community.
“If you have any information about drug related activity in your area please contact your local Neighbourhood Police team or you can contact us anonymously using the charity Crimestoppers.”
Sinn Féin councillor Áine Quinn commented: “The seizure of illegal drugs by the PSNI in the Silverbridge area is to be welcomed.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and have blighted many lives.
“The fact that these drugs will not find their way into the illegal supply chain is good news.”
