Two more cars destroyed in Gilfrord arson attacks

Two cards were destroyed in an arson attack in Gilford on Easter Monday.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incidents.

Shortly before 6.50am yesterday morning, Monday March 28, it was reported that a blue Subaru car parked in the area of Castleview had been set on fire. The car was completely destroyed as a result.

Shortly before 5.50am this morning, Tuesday 29 March, it was reported that a Ford Focus car parked in the area of Castleview had been set on fire. The car was completely destroyed as a result.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about either incident to contact officers in Armagh Police Station on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

This is the second incident of a similar nature in over Eater, with a car being destroyed on Friday in the Woodlands area of the town.
