A woman is to appear in court this morning (Friday) to face a number of theft-related charges.
The 45-year-old woman was arrested by detectives in Lurgan on Thursday.
She has been charged with a number of counts of fraud by false representation as well as several of counts of theft.
She is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court to face the allegations against her.
The charges are in connection with an investigation into a number of purse thefts and fraud related offences across the entire south region, including Enniskillen, Omagh, Dungannon, Craigavon, Armagh and Newry.
All charges are reviewed by the PPS.
