A 44-year-old man has been charged with possessing criminal property and encouraging or assisting in the supply of a controlled drug.
The arrest and charges relate to searches and seizures by officers from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch in the Kilkeel and Newry areas on Wednesday, January 26.
The man is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court via videolink tomorrow (Friday), February 4.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
