Midwives kept busy with Christmas arrivals at Craigavon Area Hospital

'Perfect Christmas gift' for cardiac physiologist and husband

Baby Molly Corvan with midwives

It was a busy festive period for midwives in the Southern Trust, with five babies born at Craigavon Area Hospital on Christmas Day and six on Boxing Day.

Among the new arrivals was baby Molly Corvan who made her entrance at 00.46am on Christmas Day, weighing in at 8lb 2oz.

Mum Amy, from Derrynoose, is a senior cardiac physiologist in the cardiac investigations department at Craigavon Hospital, so she was in familiar surroundings.
