The man was subsequently arrested during an operation carried out to target an organised crime gang in the area.
He was released on bail pending forensic examination of suspected drugs seized.
Police have now charged him with possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.
He has also been charged with having in his possession criminal property, namely money.
The man will now appear in court next month.
Police have thanked the public for their help and renewed calls for anyone with information on drugs to get in touch.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Charges like this don’t come without you, and information from within communities.
