Man beaten unconscious and robbed by group of males in Craigavon

A man was rendered unconscious by a group of males who robbed the victim of the contents if his wallets in Craigavon on Friday night.

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information and witnesses in relation to the report of a robbery in the Westacres area.

Sergeant Cordner said: “Shortly before 7.45pm, it was reported that a man was assaulted by a number of males in the Westacres area, who struck and kicked the back of his head, leaving him unconscious, before taking the contents of his wallet, which included a bank card, and a sum of cash.

“A description was given of two of the suspects, with one being said to be approximately five ft six ins in height, with short blonde hair, and wearing a blue jacket .

“A second suspect was described as being around five ft nine ins, with short black hair, and a bright pink top.

“Our enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are continuing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have any information which might assist, to get in touch via 101, quoting reference number 1621 10/05/24.”
