Man accused of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of children appears in court

A Craigavon man accused of indecent exposure and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of children has appeared in court.

The 51-year-old confirmed he understood the alleged offences as a constable said he believed he could connect him to the charges.

Terry McCollum, of Kernan Hill Manor, appeared charged with indecent exposure, indecent behaviour and intentionally engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child under 16 at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Standing in the dock, the defendant confirmed that he understood the charges.

The case was adjourned until September 6 when it is hoped a full file will have been received.
