Gang of youths target and rob young men out walking alone

On both occasions items were taken from the victims with violence or the threat of violence used

Detectives in Lurgan are investigating reports of two street robberies in County Armagh.

They happened in the Tullygally and Brownlow areas of Craigavon on Saturday.

Both incidents occurred between 4pm and 5pm and involved a group of teenage male youths.

They targeted other male youths walking alone in the area.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “On both occasions items were taken from the victims with violence or the threat of violence used, however, neither sustained any serious injuries.

“Anyone with any information about these incidents or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call detectives in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
