Disgust as Craigavon pharmacy break in will ‘have huge impact on community’

Legahory pharmacy break in

A Craigavon pharmacy was broken into during the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

The burglary occurred at Northern Pharmacies in the Legahory area.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident which will have a huge impact on its users.

SDLP Councillor Thomas Larkham commented: “Having spoken with owner Martin McVeigh I am disgusted to learn of the impact this will have on our local community.

“Throughout this pandemic, Northern Pharmacies and others across the borough have provided first class support and advice to those who need it most.

“This incident is not only an attack on a business but one on the entire Brownlow community.

“Having spoken with the PSNI this morning in relation to this incident I will be requesting increased patrols and a police presence in the area.

“Those responsible should be ashamed of themselves and I would appeal to anyone with information to contact me or 101 immediately.”
