Cannabis seized after police searches in county Armagh

Officers from E District’s Tactical Crime Unit have seized cannabis in county Armagh with an estimated value of £400, as part of Operation Torus.

Police conducted searches of two properties in Waringstown on Wednesday, 5 March. Herbal cannabis and herbal resin were seized.

The investigation into these seizures is ongoing.

Meanwhile, police in Craigavon are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage in the Gibsons Hill area of Lurgan.

Some time between 7pm on Tuesday, 25 February and 11am on Wednesday, 26 February two pipes, used for pumping slurry, were slashed. The pipes were in a field on Gibsons Hill, Gilford Road.
