Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have arrested two men in connection with the discovery of five cannabis factories in Northern Ireland over the past 12 months.
The men, aged 33 and 34, were arrested in Newry last night and the second arrest in Portadown this morning (Sunday).
It follows the discovery of cannabis factories in Cookstown, Carrickmore, Magherafelt, Millisle and Portadown.
The estimated street valued of the plants seized was in excess of £1.5 million.
