Burglars move car to make getaway with goods

Police in Portadown are appealing for information following a burglary on Drumnasoo Road.

Some time between lunchtime on Tuesday, March 18 and  4pm on Wednesday, March 19, entry was forced to an outbuilding in the grounds of a house on Drumnasoo Road.

The window of a car parked in the outbuilding was smashed and the handbrake released to move the vehicle so a number of items could be taken.

The items include: five feet long galvanised steel single axle ‘Brown’ garden trailer with registration plate JIB 1188  attached to it, a red and grey ‘Castle Garden’ lawnmower with Honda engine and a grey ‘Ryobi’ petrol engine hedge cutter.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity  around the area during this time or has information in relation to the burglary to contact them in Portadown on the new non-emergency 101 number, quoting ref:  802190314.
