A man in his 20s has been stabbed during an incident in Bessbrook.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
The victim was sitting in his vehicle in the Ard Aveen Park area at around 4.40pm when he was attacked through the open window by another man armed with a knife.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are thought to be serious but not life threatening.
Detectives would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have witnessed what happened. They are asked to call 101, quoting reference 1102 05/04/21.

Slieve Gullion area Sinn Féin Councillor Declan Murphy said that the incident has caused “deep fear and huge annoyance within the community”.
“Actions like this have no place in our society particularly at this time when our health service, as well as other frontline statutory agencies and indeed communities are doing what they can to fight against Covid-19,” said Mr Murphy.
