A Bessbrook gardening business has some big plans in the pipeline as it aims to open a new showroom in the Model Village.
Alan Black and Co Ltd has been up and running for quite some time and is a well-established business in the area.
Located at Kidds Road, it is now hoped to create an extension to the garden machinery business.
An application has now been submitted for the work – estimated to cost around £325,000 according to Construction Information Services – to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
The proposals would see the construction of a new purpose built showroom and office building.
The development would also include associated ancillary works.
The plans are due to be publicly advertised this week and a decision is expected in due course.
