Woman sexually assaulted as police appeal for information on man and woman seen in area

Detectives investigating the report of a sexual assault on a woman in Banbridge earlier this week have made a specific appeal.

Detective Constable Boyd said. “The assault was reported to us on Monday and is reported as having occurred in the Hillhead Park area.

“We are working to establish what happened. In particular, I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the Hillhead Park area on Sunday 13th December  at around 3.30am  and may have saw a male and female in the area around this time.

“I am also making an appeal for anyone who may have been in Solitude Park, skate park between Saturday, December 12th at 10pm and Sunday December 13th at around 3.30 am and who believes they may have information that can help the investigation.
