Van destroyed in Loughbrickland arson attack

"Thankfully, no one was inside the van at the time and there are no reports of any injuries."

A van has been destroyed in an arson attack in Loughbricklnad.

And police are appealing for information following the incident yesterday (Saturday).

Sergeant Berry said: “It was reported shortly after 7.20pm than a van was on fire in the Greenan Road area which has caused significant damage.

“Thankfully, no one was inside the van at the time and there are no reports of any injuries.

“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who may have CCTV footage to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1657 23/07/22.”
