Police have uncovered over £4,300 in goods stolen from Tesco in Banbridge after stopping a vehicle led to a home search.
The vehicle was stopped on Tuesday (February 27) as the driver had been involved in a theft from Tesco in Banbridge.
A number of items had been stolen to the value of over £400.
Police subsequently carried out a search at the person’s home address, where they recovered more items taken from Tesco to a value of over £4,300.
All items were fit for resale and returned to Tesco and the vehicle was seized.
