Appearing for a committal hearing was Matthew Jardine from Tory Brae, Dromara who faces seven charges in total, including three counts of possessing indecent images of a child.

There are also two counts each of possessing a prohibited image of a child and possessing an extreme pornographic image.

Offending is alleged to have occurred on April 11, 2022.

No details surrounding the circumstances of the alleged offences were disclosed during the short hearing at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

A prosecuting lawyer said there is a case to answer which was agreed by District Judge Michael Ranaghan.
