Detectives are investigating a report of an alleged sexual assault on a teenage girl in Banbridge, on Sunday, October 2.
The assault is reported to have occurred in the Commercial Road area of the town between 7pm and 8pm on that date.
Police said that while their inquiries remain ongoing “we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time or has information which may help our investigation to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 1799 of 02/10/22.
Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
