Police investigate ‘very serious incident’ at house in Gilford

Police are investigating what they describe as a “very serious incident” at a house in Gilford on Saturday evening.

Officers have not outlined specific details in relation to what exactly has transpired at this time.

But in appealing for information, a PSNI spokesperson said: “A number of males were seen leaving the area in a blue coloured car.

“A linked incident in Portadown on the morning of Sunday 8th November 2020 at approximately 9am is also being investigated involving a number of males in a vehicle in the Margaret Street / Hampton Court area of the town close to the Corcrain Road.

“Should anyone have any information in relation to the incidents or who may be able to help with the investigation, please call detectives in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 255 08/11/20, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
